WTF? They just said that the ice in Austin can last up to 3 days! I just thank my lucky stars that I have a grocery store across the street! I sure as hell hope they're wrong about this one!

What i have noticed about Anchorage since i've been here.. Even though it's cold, it doesn't feel cold. Until today my nalgene bottle didn't freeze in my car,nd I was able to walk outside with wet hair without it freezing. I have noticed when it gets below zero it gets a little chilly, well it's cold, but it's not as bad as you would think it wouldbe...

Seattle, we've had snow on the ground about a week now, with more coming tonight. The shady parts of the roads are solid ice still. It looks more like Boise, Idaho than Western Washington.
But I got 3 jumps in on Sunday, all from 13,500. And it really wasn't that cold, considering I jumped in Utah for years.
