Non-skydiving entertainment in AZ?

do you think I need to wear UnderArmour?

Definately, this Sunday was 18-25 degrees @ 13.5K. I'd suggest booking your tunnel time before 6pm even though the waiting room is heated so it's not too bad. Hope it warms up for your visit and I'd like to have some warmer airtime myself this weekend.

There's Grande Valley Golf course just a few miles from the DZ, you'll get to see it from the air. The Duke golf course is in Maricopa, not too far and fairly inexpensive. A few miles away in Arizona City there is another course about $35-40 a round.
Picacho Peak is only a half hour away and a pretty challenging hike.

Take along a portable ultraviolet light and go take a walk in the desert and see what glows in the dark;)

The movie theatre in (I think) Casa Grande is free to skydivers. All you have to do is say you are a skydiver and they just tell you to go in and pick a movie. No proof needed. Its also good for a rainy day for people who do skydive :)

Wow everybody! Thank you so, so much for all the awesome suggestions! I'm printing out the list and if my husband doesn't have a fantastic time, it won't be for lack of things to do.

You guys rock.B|B|B|B|B|

By the way, awesome tip about the movie theater. Good to know for rainy days, as someone mentioned. B|

You might consider climbing Squaw Peak in Phoenix. It takes about 1 hour, and even if you only make it up 20 minutes or so, it is still far enough to get a great view.

Alternatively, a great view is also had by driving to the top of South Mountain. Wouldn't stay up there much past sunset though.
People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am

So seriously, then, do you think I need to wear UnderArmour? Shorts vs longer pants? Guess I can bring a variety. I'll probably need the UnderArmour for the tunnel at night.

I'm not usually cold, but, in the tunnel this weekend, I was wearing 2 layers of fleeced lycra tops, a T shirt, fleeced leggings, and wind stopper gloves. The 1st session in the AM were still cold.:|
