McBeth 0 #1 January 15, 2007 OMG... my heat is broken and I just can't take it. Time to invest in a space heater, since I don't think it would be wise to build a fire inside my apt.

I have a space heater in my bedroom for nights - makes a hellova difference for comfortable sleeping. jmpnkramer 0 #7 January 15, 2007 I have no Idea! I would send you my Space Heater since it does not work where I am at. Electricity difference! It probably would not get there until warmer weather though. TARGET! I guess ya'll do not have Wal-Mart out there on the West Coast. I know they seem to own everything but it is the cheapest place. Usually less than $20 for a space heater. Hopefully that other idea works out for you! Laters, K-MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .The REAL KRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMER! jimmytavino 16 #8 January 16, 2007 while you're shopping for the space heater,,,, (and be sure it has auto shut off,,,anti tipping disconnect, and a reliable thermostat) why not consider getting a good electric blanket for the bed, with adjustable controls... Turn it on a half hr. before you retire for the eve..and it will be nice and toasty for you... They should supply you with a temp heater until it is fixed. To pass the time watch porn at someone elses apt until your heat is back on, then resume watching porn at your place! Take it from someone that used to go through 2 of those crappy $30 space heaters every winter. It works WAY better and from the look of the electric bill, it's saving me some money too. Yep, the little cheap space heaters tend to blow fuses which sucks. If you can find the convection type, get one. If not, move somewhere warmer. Lord knows I'd do that if I could. Be happy you're not getting -40 like I had here last week. Keep warm, my dear. Just think, LP is less than 200 sleeps away! If your place is old though, they could blow a fuse - happened to me. My condo was built in '78.
