Farm Worker Attacked by Herd of Pigs

Recommended Posts

Wow... the Animal Farm story brought to life in the real world! :D:D:D

Reuters
LONDON (Jan. 8) - A British farm worker needed hospital treatment after being attacked by a herd of pigs, Norfolk police said Sunday.

The 51-year-old man was knocked over by a sow at a Norfolk farm in eastern England, prompting the rest of the herd to attack him.

"It seems that when he fell, he was attacked by one of the sows and then the other pigs joined in," a Norfolk police spokesman told Reuters.

"He suffered bumps and bruises and a head injury though it is not considered to be life-threatening."

The police spokesman said it was the first time he had heard of a pig attack in the area -- but it was unlikely the herd would be put down.

Yeah, and the pigs are cousins of one of the most-feared animals around, what exactly is it called? Razorback or wild hog or something? You happen to wound it, it gets pissed, runs away back around in a wide circle and gets you from behind... You about need a .40 or larger caliber handgun at close range just to put it down.

That's scary!

The rancher I work for has been having one helluva problem with feral hogs. As well as the other ranchers in the area. They root-up water lines, tear-up fences and the day he and I found one of his new-born calves eaten by feral hogs... the war was on! What is really scary is, nothing will touch the dead carcasses! We've seen where critters have approached the carcasses but ran off. Feral hogs have become a real problem throughout this country. On the 'good side'... no restrictions on hunting them!:)

You're always gonna have problems lifting a body in one piece. Apparently, the best thing to do...is cut up a corpse into six pieces and pile it all together. When you got your six pieces, you gotta get rid of them. It's no good leaving it in the freezer for your mum to discover. Then I hear the best thing to do is feed them to pigs. You gotta starve the pigs for a few days...then the chopped-up body will look like curry to a pisshead. You gotta shave the heads of your victims and pull the teeth out...for the piggies' digestion. You could do this afterwards, of course....but you don't want to sieve through pigshit, do you? They will go through bone like butter. You need at least 16 pigs to finish the job in one sitting....so be wary of any man who keeps a pig farm. They will go through a body that weighs 250 pounds......in about eight minutes. That means that a single pig....can consume two pounds of uncooked flesh.....every minute. Hence the expression......"as greedy as a pig".
