The stiching was extremely innovative and was supposed to leave virtually no scar/mark. He didn't have the balls to tell me he'd never seen stiching like that before. I gave him my original doctor's card and recommended he call him b/c I was told it was a new thing. He said, "Oh, I know what this is. I don't need to make any phone calls." and yanked it out. When I got home, my back was bleeding and when I went to clean it up I found the stiching STILL in my back (which I then removed myself). It left a huge scar (which is really not all that noticeably anymore). This photo of it was taken when I was 21. I'm 26 now and it's almost gone. That's a long story...ha!...but my point is I was HIGHLY encouraged by certain people to have corrective surgery.
