Wow Michigan really proved to everyone they deserved to be in the National Championship....NOT!

If Michigan really deserved to play for the national championship youd think they would have at least one there bowl game against a team ranked 5 spots lower then them right???

As a Buckeye I was watching with joy as USC kicked butt. Yes, maybe now Michigan will accept the fact that they don't belong in the championship game this year. The way they played today they didn't deserve to be in the Rose Bowl. Young team that they are, maybe next year.
USC played a fine game, with the only exceptions being a couple times when the USC receivers taunted the Michigan defenders after a good catch. One taunt while running into the endzone resulted in a much deserved late hit. Those couple instances were uncalled for and totally classless on both sides of the ball.

Funny how all the SEC peeps aren't braggin about how tough they are and how weak the Big Ten is this week....Oh that's right, they are 0 for 2 in bowl games against the Big Ten! But then again the Big Ten don't play in the tough SEC and that's why they were fresh enough to win,, huh?

Yes, the Big Ten seems to have won both match-ups against the SEC teams to date. However, the other Big Ten teams have stunk it up.

Big Ten: 2 - 4 bowl record with one game left
SEC: 5 - 3 bowl record with one game left

You're assured of a losing bowl record. We're assured of a winning bowl record regardless of what happens in the BCS championship game.

As an older student at OSU, I've been telling the young 'uns not to be too sure about the outcome of this game. Of course I'm cheering for the Bucks, but the fact is Florida had a much tougher schedule, due mostly to the SEC. There is also the very real chance that if Florida hadn't lost that game, they would be ranked #1. No matter how it turns out, it's gonna be a great game!

Oh, one other thing....it don't matter what the conferences bowl records are, the only thing people will remember is who wins the game next Monday night.

he is completely right...It dont matter who played who when or which conference is beating the other. The Gators play the buckeyes and its gonna be great.

So far Im quite happy with the Bowl Season. Michigan lost so that shut them the fuck up and Notre Dame got raped by LSU (a team Florida handely beat). Finally everyone will see how overrated they are. They have 9 straight bowl losses and are only in a bowl every year since they jack up ratings.
