Joellercoaster 6 #33 January 23, 2007 Andy, your Pilot will calm down after a while... I watched a friend pack his literally-never-jumped Crossfire2 a couple of weeks ago and it was comedy, but I was laughing because I used to look the same (and worse) when my Pilot was new. I won't claim it's a dream yet (packed my mate's Sabre1 for him and was shocked at how easy packing can be), but 80-odd jumps later I don't fear it as much as I used to. Back on-topic: I have Aerodyne canopies and really love my Pilot, but Icarus are strongly tempting me for my next one. We shall see...-- "I'll tell you how all skydivers are judged, . grue 1 #34 January 23, 2007 On my second Precision main. Love the canopy (Fusion 190, previous was a Fusion 210), and can't beat the customer service. I'll hopefully be going to a Nitron 170 after this, but that's quite a way off (and I'll need an non-fully tapered canopy to get used to a 170 first)cavete terrae. I've heard on numerous occasions that the cobalt and comp. cobalt are no longer in production, and there isn't even a tidbit of information available online from them regarding any of their BASE canopies. If you are asking for proof on Cobalt vs. Space , then I assume a post from Dan @ Atair should take your doubts away: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=192885#192885 In there he outlines the 2 differences between the Space and Cobalt. As far as the size - perhaps they are not advertising/manufacturing a 170sq ft now, but they definately were.

You might not see your display from it and it might cause reading disabilities . Read cobaltdan's post again and you might understand that Cobalt and Space are not the same. If it does not even help just read the label. You know two canopies are the same if and only if both have the same manufacturer and same model name. Simple, isn't it? You might say that your Space is almost identical with Contrail from PV. It might be even true.
