Anyone here ever have the Vic 20 or Commador 64?
ya know, back when pong came out.:|

Learned "puters" on Commodore 64s, but the first computer in our house was an Apple IIc -- with an astonishing 128k of RAM. Oh yeah....had that baby hooked up to a thermal printer and it was on!! :SB|
So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh
Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright
'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life
Make light!

Heck, my first was a Timex Sinclair 1000 bought out of the local Swap Sheet for $50. Even had the memory expansion that plugged onto the back taking it from 2k to 16k.

Membrane keyboard, one character at a time until a truck drove by outside and the vibrations reset it. Never did get the damn tape drive to work properly.

Oh man oh man.... this was our first computer. Got it around 1978 or 1979... My parents still have it in the original box in their basement. Can you believe it?? I need to get it out next time I visit... ;)

When I went home for the holidays I took my nephews out to an arcade and he said,"You're probably used to the old fashioned games where you have to use quarters - we have cards now - I'll show you how to use them." I'm not sure if I was more offended that he called ten years ago old-fashioned, or that I actually had to pay attention to see how it worked and then sat there trying to figure out what 37 points equated to in money [:/]

I'll take my Atari Frogger any day. Well, as long as I can keep my high speed interent too ;)
Because life is an adventure - it may not be the one you planned, but then it wouldn't be an adventure!

we will all wait and see what happens, high speed just allows you to do stupid stuff quicker

installed wi-fi at the house for the kids, now they IM me rather than come and talk
