Andy_Copland 0 #1 December 6, 2006 Im a big Chili Peppers fan, apart from Scar Tissue and Other Side this is probably one of the only songs of theirs released on TV that i think is fucking great. BGill 0 #3 December 6, 2006 i think Stadium Arcadium is a great album altogether. after One Hot Minute (their worst album IMO) they have been getting better and better each album. reminds me a lot of the older stuff with a lot of good funk. and yes, Snow is a great song. i wonder how many people know what its actually about? BGill 0 #6 December 6, 2006 well i never actually read anywhere what it is about, but just from listening to the lyrics i can almost guarantee that its about cocaine. "white as snow" - what else is white as snow? "hey oh, listen what i say-oh" - rhymes with yayo, which is common slang for coke and of course lots of talking of being high, etc etc etc. also, under the bridge was about anthony's heroin addiction. he used to buy it under a bridge in LA. Lindercles 0 #7 December 6, 2006 Until this thread I'd never heard the song or read the lyrics, but it's the freakin' Chili Peppers and the song is called "Snow." I was pretty sure it was about cocaine. Excellent deduction Sherlock.

freekflyguy 0 #9 December 7, 2006 I wasnt sure wether or not to take Scar Tissue with a pinch of salt. That guy has abused himself so much its a wonder he is still alive. Gotta say I saw RHCP at Earls Court with my GF and they were awesome, almost did a cover of Londons Calling and had Patti Smith guesting. I caught a glimpse of the video for Snow and thought it had been filmed at Earls Court but on closer inspection that seems not to be the case. The best live show I have been to this year was the Foo Fighters at Hyde Park which is out on DVD and should be in my stocking on Xmas Day It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice. Stumpy 284 #10 December 7, 2006 I saw them at Hyde Park and was seriously disappointed but i think that was the venue rather than the band. I'd love to see them at a small Gig (yeah right)Never try to eat more than you can lift
caz 0 #11 December 7, 2006 I saw them in Hyde Park too and yes it was very disappointing, the accoustics were terrible as it is flat there and it was a windy day. I had seen them a year or two before though in London Arena in the docklands, and they were fantastic there, wasn't long after they released Californication. They are the second best live band I have ever seen (based on the docklands gig!), the top band being Muse who were spectacular. ~~~ London Skydivers ~~~
Stumpy 284 #12 December 7, 2006 I saw U2 two weeks ago - by far the best i have ever seen but the stadium was perfect. Big enough and small enough all at the same time.Never try to eat more than you can lift
