seal_S49 0 #4 February 14, 2007 Quoteis there a big difference between spectre and a stiletto? Yes. Quote Is Stiletto hard to land? Define "hard." BTW: The mfr is probably gonna be the best source of info. And the least biased because they're both made by PD. Pay particular attention to experience vs. wing-loading Note to self: I bet I'm gonna here the term "ground hungry" before this thread is over. I think people just like to say that. DrewEckhardt 0 #6 February 14, 2007 Quoteinfo about stiletto, is there a big difference between spectre and a stiletto? A Stiletto is a lot more sensitive to control input (intended or otherwise) than a Spectre. I didn't always land in a straight line after I got mine with only 600 jumps worth of experience. Other people died. PD used to recommend a minimum of 500 jumps before you tried one. We're a little less conservative about elliptical canopies these days with Brian Germain setting the bar at just 300 jumps for his Samurai at an appropriate wing loading.
