Zee 0 #3 September 30, 2004 This reminded me of something. When I used to jump in Ohio I had a friend we called Toonces - On his first jump (static line) the dude climbed out and immediately proceeded to wrap both his arms and legs around the strut and absolutely refused to let go. It took something like four go-arounds before the pilot finally got his ass of the plane. The best part is, even after all the shit on his first jump, he came back and got his APeace, Z Edit: Does that work for ya tweak? PLFKING 4 #8 September 30, 2004 Samurai Deli Howard Shore and His All-Bee Band The first two years of SNL was the best comedy i've ever seen on TV....of course, watching it stoned with a bunch of high school friends might have skewed my perception a little. And of course the "Oops I crapped my pants" commercial. "Because I'm wearing them... And I just did..."

JohnMitchell 16 #12 September 30, 2004 Some of the great later stuff I liked were Dennis Miller with the weekend update and David Spade with the Hollywood Minute. God, that was some wicked funny stuff sometimes. Dan Akroyd with the Bass-a-Matic was a total hilarious groos out. Yuck!

Ugh, you like that skit?! I never could see anything funny about it. My favorite things were always the fake commercials. They were great parodies. And the Bill Murray, Gilda Radner, Laraine Newman skit about caring for your Uvula. It was great. "It'll behoove ya -- to care for your uvula!" -Jeffrey-Jeffrey "With tha thoughts of a militant mind... Hard line, hard line after hard line!"

PalletMan 0 #18 September 30, 2004 My memory is bad with this one. I think it was Tim Meadows hosting a children's show. He had three characters on the show Unity, Caring, and Knowledge. Each had their first letter on their chest: U, C, and K. The characters, without Meadows knowing it before, wanted to bring out a new one: Friendship with an F on his chest. Hysterical watching Meadows trying to keep them from putting the new guy at the front of the line. --ArtSky-div'ing (ski'div'ing) n. NWFlyer 2 #19 December 1, 2006 Bumping this old one because a thread in the Women's Forum (coincidentally also started by RkyMtnHigh) made me think of one of my favorite SNL sketches ... Lord and Lady Douchebag. I'm still looking for the video, but I did find a transcript. http://snltranscripts.jt.org/79/79tdouchebag.phtml And of course, this time of year I'm always hearing The Hanukkah Song and it always makes me giggle. Alec Baldwin as the lecherous scoutmaster hitting on Canteen Boy is another great one."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences." -P.J. O'Rourke

I GOT A FEVER... AND THE ONLY PRESCRIPTION IS MORE COWBELL!!! I love that skit!!! and the churchlady (Dana Carvey) "Well, Isn't that special...." "Who could it be, hmmm? Who could it possibly be? Could it be.... SATAN!!!"Some people refrain from beating a dead horse. Personally, I find a myriad of entertainment value when beating it until it becomes a horse-smoothie.
