LouDiamond 1 #2 July 30, 2009 Try contacting the Airborne and Special Operations Test Board, they have footage of towed jumpers and towed jumper testing. You can also try the 82nd Airborne Advanced airborne School. skyh2omedic 0 #3 July 31, 2009 I can give you a first hand account of what it's like to be a hung jumper out the right door of a C-141. Just for a moment-seemed like a lifetime. Fryer DZ-Ranger class 4-84. I would love to see some video.Quote"You can't teach what you don't know and you can't lead where you won't go"
 yoink 321 #4 July 31, 2009 There's a video on Skydivingmovies - look for 'Static Line hang up'. there's also a thread round here discussing it somewhere. He lived but he was lucky. The civilian one pisses me off.. he never gave the signal ( hands on helmet ) that all of us old guys learned. I am sorry, but my guess is he wasnt trained on that. I dont understand that !!!!! God help me, please !! I dont understand !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are some really good posts in it including some from the instructor, but basically the DZ training didn't include static line hangup procedures... it does now!
