ACMESkydiver 0 #1 November 15, 2006 When's the last time you had to 'raise your right hand' and swear to something? I guess I counted marriage because you kind of hold right hands while you're swearing to something... Anyhoo, me, last time was marriage. Only other time was for the army. How 'bout you? ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.
kelel01 1 #2 November 15, 2006 Um, at Bridge Day. But I don't really think that counts, as it wasn't a legally binding oath I was taking.

JENNR8R 0 #10 November 15, 2006 Every four years when I get my notary commission. In Virginia the commission expires after four years and one has to go through the same process as if they had never been a notary before. I've taken the oath six times. What do you call a beautiful, sunny day that comes after two cloudy, rainy ones? -- Monday.

happythoughts 0 #17 November 16, 2006 Marriage? I've been swearing about mine for years. "DUCK!" "Good thing I had my right hand up." "How many people can you fit behind this couch?" "The record's eleven, but, for some reason, we can't get a dinner party together anymore."
