2006 Review

Recommended Posts

The year is comming to an end. Did any one set goals for themselves at the start of 2006? If so, what were they and did you achieve your goals?

Brag on!

Out of all the ones I set I completed one I was just about to complete another but the money just didn't go far enough. I did accomplish plenty this year just not what I told myself I would do. Lost a little focus but it has been a good year for personal accomplishments.

2007 is my over flow for last years goals.
volunteer for RAM airborne, get another riggers rating(to become a master rigger later some other year), get a TI rating. Since 2007 is a world record year for CRW I'm adding being a record holder.

Last year I finished my PRO rating (this one I actually set for 2006), got SCUBA open water certified, did my first base jump, bought my first property. I was going to get an AA degree on my way to my Bachelors but the school stopped offering them, so I have to skip that and keep going to the 4 year degree.
Because of my PRO rating, I also achieved a dream I have had for 5 years. I'm a demo jumper for the U.S. Marines Not only that but I started the program. although it is small time right now if I keep working at growing it it could be huge.

Can't really call this one a goal since it was impromptu but a month ago I quite smoking. It is one of those cliche new years resolutions that I didn't make.
When I met my sweet heart and then got a chest cold I figured why not try again. I did slip and have one twice. I haven't bought any and I haven't had more than one each time. It is hard but as long as I keep getting "rewarded" then I'm distracted. She is such great support and help.

Did you have any accomplishments in 2006 that were goals set at new years?

Well I did things this year that I swore I would do when I was 19, and 2005 I had alot of them.... I finished them up this year.

Next year, Im just going to keep at it. School , work, family, health, and happiness... I think after the year I have had and the many changes good and bad have me at a point where I live very much in the now, but still making plans.... Ive alot I am thankfuls for (wait are we talking thanksgiving or new years? hehe) and I figure I might ruin the good by asking for more.
