Serrated Scissors

Recommended Posts

At the Symposium, Dave DeWolf mentioned a pair of serrated scissors that he said were the Cat's Meow to cut Spectra with. I got a pair and he is right.

They come from:

Fremont, OH 43420

info@arius-eickert.com

They are noted as #9162, 7" Winders Shears & the serration is an extra charge.

I don't know what they cost; mine were gratis.

Hell Jerry, I just use a new pair of side cutters. Hold it to the line at an angle for a tapered cut.

Paramedic's shears are cheap as hell (I get 'em free) and work wonders. Ever seen how well a Paramedic is able to destroy a jumpsuit and or rig when they are first to an accident?

Hey Jerry, I got mine at Home Depot. I think they call them "eletrican sissors". Cost about $6. Mine are made by Heritage and are 5 1/4" OAL. One blade is serrated and the other is smooth, and yea, they cut free hanging spectra like a hot knife thru butter.
