Thanatos340 1 #126 November 10, 2006 Forget the VW and Audi Models. Maintenance costs and Life expectancy sucks. Get the Civic. Definately the best bang for the Buck and will last longer with far less maintenance costs.

simplyputsi 0 #129 November 10, 2006 gonna have to agree on the maintenance issues. I just reached 100,000 on my civic and it cost me 6 hundred something for belt maintenance. That included a new timing. I still need to do the plugs and wires. For having the thing for 6 years I'd have to say 6 hundred is a bargain. I have a friend with a vw and they charge him crazy amounts for the tiniest things. He had to pay something like 50 for a pollen filter. Give me a break. I like VW but they are spensive. Just get a toyota tacoma. You'd be surprised at the gas mileage and well you'll learn to park it somehow.Skymama's #2 stalker -

yardhippie 0 #131 November 10, 2006 QuoteWhy dont you just get another vibe? You liked that car. I consider it. But I really wanted the GT version. (insert jokes here) The GT version was supercharged (180hp vs. 130 hp) AND all wheel drive. They still have the AWD version but its a wimpy 122 hp. I really would like something with a bit more ZIP for ATL traffic.Goddam dirty hippies piss me off! ~GFD "What do I get for closing your rig?" ~ me "Anything you want." ~ female skydiver Mohoso Rodriguez #
