bigway 4 #1 November 9, 2006 This is really annoying. If you find yourself using tabs a lot in the firefox here instead of going to the right hand side and clicking to collapse the tabs, here you have to colapse the on each individual tab. Really annoying in my books. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .

happythoughts 0 #3 November 9, 2006 Sometimes, if you ever have a page loading and you cancel it, it thinks that it is still running. Something to do with a lock file called parent.lock. That is annoying. A resolution that rarely works is rebooting. Plan B is deleting/reinstalling. That is a major bug in my book.

mnealtx 0 #5 November 9, 2006 Or right click in the tab-bar and select "close all".... Anywho, here's a link to a good Firefox tweaks page...Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. POPS 9708 , SCR 14706
TheBile 0 #6 November 9, 2006 That's amazing. I upgraded to F2 for the first time last night and thought exactly the same thing. F2's new features doesn't raise the bar at all from version 1 IMHO. I'm uninstalling it and going back to the original tonight.Gerb I stir feelings in others they themselves don't understand. KA'CHOW !

mnealtx 0 #8 November 9, 2006 You can adjust how the tabs close either through 'about:config' or via an extension. Check the page I mentioned, or do a Google search - there's tons of "tweak sites" out there...Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. Fast 0 #11 November 9, 2006 Middle clicking (i.e. pressing down on the scroll wheel) also closes tabs. I also have middle click set up to open a link in a new tab. Haven't upgraded to firefox2 yet, dont know when I will.~D Where troubles melt like lemon drops Away above the chimney tops That's where you'll find me. legorowbot 0 #12 November 9, 2006 I didn't know the middle-click to close trick... that's pretty neat. Since we're sharing firefox tips, hold down the right mouse button and scroll with the scroll wheel. Cycles through the tabs. And if you have a side scroll, sideways goes through that tabs history. Why does it say "Append signature to post" when I don't have a signature?
