CSpenceFLY 1 #1 November 7, 2006 You know that one drawer that you put everthing that you don't have a place for or you are too lazy to put it where it belongs. That drawer you always end up digging through when you are looking for batteries, safety pins, trash bag ties,ect... Right now I'm looking for the manual for my GPS and it's not in there.
NWFlyer 2 #2 November 7, 2006 Yup. There's one in my kitchen that has all manner of crap in it. It's usually the place to find batteries, among many other things."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. DavidST 0 #3 November 7, 2006 Yep About once a month i go through it and try and clean it out. It amazes me what i find in there sometimesAs a general rule, the better it felt when you said it, the more trouble it's going to get you into.

JENNR8R 0 #8 November 7, 2006 Yep, I think a junk drawer is healthy. Some things just are happier in a jumble. But I'd never put a manual in there. I have a file for that. What do you call a beautiful, sunny day that comes after two cloudy, rainy ones? -- Monday.

smiles 0 #20 November 7, 2006 ahhh! it no longer exists! I have such little space in my kitchen and that drawer full of stuff had to go. It was mostly made up of my handy tools: re: tape measurer, multiple screw driver, wire snips....jars of odd screws, nails...staple gun and staples, snap off blades, poly instafil.. so I dumped all into a small tool box (big tool box is in the carport) and fired it in a cupboard. Wow! could have done that years ago!! SMileseustress. : a positive form of stress having a beneficial effect on health, motivation, performance, and emotional well-being. JohnMitchell 16 #23 November 8, 2006 Five people under one roof, we have multiple junk drawers, one just for scratch paper. No matter how much you try to organize, there is just too much going on around here to keep track of everything. Someday we'll downsize and simplify. Until then, has anyone seen the good scissors?
