Do you have a junk drawer at your house?

Right now I'm looking for the manual for my GPS and it's not in there.

Yup. There's one in my kitchen that has all manner of crap in it. It's usually the place to find batteries, among many other things.

Yep, I think a junk drawer is healthy. Some things just are happier in a jumble. But I'd never put a manual in there. I have a file for that.

We have two file cabinets for important papers but one drawer is for manuals. Our junk drawer is in the kitchen like everyone else.

Heck I have a junk closet!

I found some old shoelaces still in the wrapper in my junk drawer and gave them to my kitten. She was thrilled!

I have a junk drawer in the kitchen and my spare bedroom counts as a junk room (not junk, but it's pretty well full of skydiving gear, snowboarding gear, out of season clothing, etc).

ahhh! it no longer exists!

I have such little space in my kitchen and that drawer full of stuff had to go.

It was mostly made up of my handy tools:
re: tape measurer, multiple screw driver, wire snips....jars of odd screws, nails...staple gun and staples, snap off blades, poly instafil..
so I dumped all into a small tool box (big tool box is in the carport) and fired it in a cupboard.

Wow! could have done that years ago!!

Five people under one roof, we have multiple junk drawers, one just for scratch paper. No matter how much you try to organize, there is just too much going on around here to keep track of everything. Someday we'll downsize and simplify. Until then, has anyone seen the good scissors?
