leapdog 0 #1 November 8, 2006 Does it take for novacaine to wear off? I'm starving. I didn't eat because I was going to the dentist and I didn' want them to get a mouth full of food or bad breath. So, I brushed and went to my appointment. I had completely forgot about the "deep cleaning" the doctor recommended so when I go the put the topical stuff on so I won't feel the needle. I bearly felt it. and they stuck me four times. Since I really don't like needles and the doc asked me if I needed a paper bag. My thought was I wish I could say one way or another but I havea needle sticking out of my mouth and I am scared to move. back to starving, I could try to eat but I'm afaid I'll bite my tongue off and not know. but seriously I think they said an hour but it has been longer than that and I'm still very much numb. How long til it wears off. Anyone know? wildfan75 1 #4 November 8, 2006 The best thing I had when I had my wisdom teeth out was mashed potatoes and cream of chicken soup mixed together. Mmmm...if I didn't just order Chipotle for lunch, I'd be off to the grocery store.
JENNR8R 0 #5 November 8, 2006 Correction! - I just spoke to the person who told me about drinking something. She said it's something warm, not a soda. Make sure it's not hot because you might burn yourself not being able to feel it.What do you call a beautiful, sunny day that comes after two cloudy, rainy ones? -- Monday. After approximately 30 minutes, there is a slower elimination phase about 90 minutes long. But your problem might be.... The drug is metabolized by the liver. leapdog 0 #7 November 8, 2006 It is well exercised. I was out shooting darts at the bar last night. Gunnery Sergeant of Marines "I would like it if I were challenged mentally at my job and not feel like I'm mentally challenged." - Co-worker
