Muenkel 0 #1 November 5, 2006 For those that are in the know. I currently have the full McAfee Security package...which I love. It is set to expire next September 1st. I received an offer to renew for 3 years at 62% off...$150.00. Does anyone think this is a good deal? Should I wait a while longer for possible better offers? This puter is only a year old, but I do expect to upgrade before the 3 years are up. Is the security package transferrable should I change puters? Thanks folks.Chris _________________________________________ Chris

neiliss 0 #3 November 6, 2006 Get free stuff on the net rather like avast, adaware, spybot etc. and then use the 150 bucks on important stuff like skydiving equipment, jumps or beer. Cheers Neil

BIGUN 1,409 #5 November 6, 2006 I'm a fan of Norton Internet Security and it runs $70.00 http://www.symantecstore.com/dr/sat2/ec_Main.Entry17C?SID=49997&SP=10023&CID=197681&PID=754925&PN=52&V1=754925&CUR=840&DSP=&PGRP=0&ABCODE=&CACHE_ID=197681Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. TheBachelor 5 #6 November 6, 2006 I was a fan of Norton, but all of a sudden it wouldn't work. I spent a number of days on the phone with their support to no avail. I'm no idiot -- I work with computers for a living, but still no workie. I came across "AVG" from Grisoft. They have a free anti-virus, and I ultimately bought the full suite of Anti-virus, firewall, etc. Their license fee is $70 for 2 years. I've been using it for several months now, and I really like it. It's not a resource hog like others, but protects well. There are battered women? I've been eating 'em plain all of these years...
