lisamariewillbe 1 #2 November 3, 2006 Put the crack pipe down ... if we could fly we'd not need to jump out of a plane or deploy a parachute. Sudsy Fist: i don't think i'd ever say this Sudsy Fist: but you're looking damn sudsydoable in this
Buried 0 #3 November 3, 2006 i dont think that would be true. some people like the FF and some people like the canopy ride.. now flying yourself up to 13k and then doing a HnP seems more reasonably done to me Where is my fizzy-lifting drink?

I suppose superman fell a few times, but well, you know... that is fiction If I could fly the way I think flying would be, absolutely not. I could experience all the things that make skydiving feel awesome.~D Where troubles melt like lemon drops Away above the chimney tops That's where you'll find me. Lindercles 0 #7 November 3, 2006 I imagine the skillsets required for flying and freefalling would be somewhat different, so it would probably still be fun to occassionally fly yourself to 14k and then stop flying and just use relative wind to maneuver yourself. jimmytavino 16 #8 November 3, 2006 ..Good. so it sounds like you would still want to 'skydive'...build formations, fly relative to your friends in freefall with you? That's different than "just flying " Right??? . Now we take a plane to get there. But if we could fly we might simply break-off , turn and track... and then instead of deploying, flatten out, start to climb, re establish eye contact with our pals, and FLY back up to 14 Grand to meet up with each other and do it all over again !!!That sounds like the best of both worlds to me. So i wouldn't wanna give up the fun of freefall...even if I could fly... I would certainly give up the effort to Pack.... since we wouldn't have to wear rigs AT ALL !!! hahahahaha.. where do I Manifest ??? kelel01 1 #9 November 3, 2006 I think it would be. BUT, if everyone could fly, then everyone would skydive. And I don't want my parents seeing me around my skydiving friends.

legorowbot 0 #13 November 3, 2006 I started skydiving cause I've always drempt of flying among the clouds. If I could fly, I'd go get a job cleaning windows of high-rise buildings and spend all my time in the air. I'd only come down when I absolutely had to. And I'm sure I'd stop flying once in a while to freefall for a bit. Its just too fun not too. Why does it say "Append signature to post" when I don't have a signature? lawrocket 3 #19 November 3, 2006 I think it's be funner. Here's why: 1) You don't need a lift to alitude - money saved. Side benefits are that you don't deal with fart gas smells. Drawbacks - no witnessing flashing for extra alti. 2) You don't need to buy a rig - money saved 3) No worry of malfunctions, slammer openings, etc. 4) Biggest benefit - you won't have to pack. How could it NOT be fun? My wife is hotter than your wife.
