matt1215 0 #1 October 30, 2006 ...especially when you live an hour from the airport. I'm sitting in the Orlando airport, waiting for a flight to Altanta, then to Portland. Going to see my folks, sister and nephews. I'm still trying to figure out what possessed me to book a 705am flight when I live an hour from the airport. Being on the road at 430am to spend much of the day flying sucks.

JENNR8R 0 #4 October 30, 2006 At least the time change this weekend helped. Your body still thinks it's an hour later. Imagine what you would feel like if this were the Spring time change and you had lost an hour on Saturday night? What do you call a beautiful, sunny day that comes after two cloudy, rainy ones? -- Monday. NWFlyer 2 #6 October 30, 2006 I hate the ass-crack of dawn flights. Unless I'm going west to east, then I find they are the easiest way to adjust to the three hour time change. Get up at 4 on the west coast and you'll be plenty tired come bedtime on the east coast."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. matt1215 0 #7 October 31, 2006 I made it. What a long day, my body's so confused what time it is. Been up for like 26 hours now, about to get some sleep. I really do dislike commercial flights. Something about getting on a plane that I don't intend to jump, for an extended period of time. I'm cool with 10-15 minutes in stinky plane before i go out the door, but being stuck between 2 stinky dudes for 5 hours really sucked.
gravitational 0 #8 November 1, 2006 QuoteI'm still trying to figure out what possessed me to book a 705am flight when I live an hour from the airport. Suck it up. I'm generally on the 6:00 AM flight every Monday AM and I'm 90 minutes away from the airport. Toss in winter and the possibility of snow the drive increases. Generally put 8-9 hours onsite at the client's once I get there too. Makes for a long ass day.------ Michael
