lisamariewillbe 1 #30 October 29, 2006 Your down to only needing 250 dollars.... WOW in what 24 hours it all changed....Now in addition to a great cause getting some good donations, you just may get to walk to. Come on peoples, she needs just a little bit more, her deadline that the place gave her to be able to participate is just a few days away.Sudsy Fist: i don't think i'd ever say this Sudsy Fist: but you're looking damn sudsydoable in this

Anyhoo, i refuse to donate to anything that uses the term boobies instead of breasts. I find the term "save the boobies" terribly offensive. ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! I get a Mike hug!
lisamariewillbe 1 #34 October 29, 2006 Well the organzation doesnt use that term I did... If it offends you to the point of not donating I apologize for using that term but this thread has helped get Beth alot of donations so it was worth itSudsy Fist: i don't think i'd ever say this Sudsy Fist: but you're looking damn sudsydoable in this

The term "save the boobies" has been used for a long time here on dzcom. Just cause i think it's icky doesn't mean much. They still raise lotsa money so it's all good in the long run. I just prefer to donate to local stuff that uses the term "breast cancer research". ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! I get a Mike hug! lisamariewillbe 1 #42 October 29, 2006 Only 190 more needed to make this a reality for Swedishcelt. All I can say is wow to how much you all have gotten her to this point in two days. Two days ago she seemed to feel she wasnt going to be able to walk, but was excited to wait at the finish line to support her friends who are on this walk. She never stated how she trained for no reason, all she could say was she raised 1000 for a really great cause and I get to watch my friends finish the walk. I sensed the disappointment of her not crossing the finish line with her friends and thus this post. DZ.commers bumped her donations up enough to where its given her hope that she gets to walk. Swedes like super woman, not only is she a teacher, but also in a masters program, and she still found time to train for the 60 mile walk. Lets help her cross that finish line.... 190 more to go.Sudsy Fist: i don't think i'd ever say this Sudsy Fist: but you're looking damn sudsydoable in this
redramdriver 0 #43 October 29, 2006 Lets step it up everyone....My wife and I are putting in another donation tomorrow...so lets just say..she need another $110. but keep giving till it hurts. She could use all the support she can get, the less out of her pocket the better off we all are. GO BETH!So, you bring your beer? swedishcelt 0 #50 October 30, 2006 Um... well. Anyways, thank you everyone for donating to this cause. It's a wonderful charity and I am doing this in memory of many people, friends and family and now... your friends and family too. Some of the stories people have shared have me very emotional. I thank you. This means a lot.
