What's Your Favorite Animal?

Recommended Posts

Mine is the horse. I just came back from seeing the movie "Flicka." It had very little plot, bad acting, and beautiful horses. Looking at a herd of horses running across a pasture is pure poetry to me. :)

Any of the felines - tigers and leopards, especially, but all cats. Next to that would be dogs (newfoundlands, shepards, labs: working dogs especially). Then the next would be horses...

I love animals of all sorts, except the creeping and crawling critters. Those make me lose whatever sanity I have at the moment. When I grow up, I'm going to have some acreage (at least 10) and be able to rescue a bunch of dogs, build a stable and have about 3 horses, and have my herd of cats. I have to grow up first, though, and that's been a struggle.

Wolves, buffalo, eagles as far as wild animals go. Dogs, more especially siberian huskies (even though I haven't had one YET) on domesticated animals.

I hope you weren't referring to eating them. [:/] One never knows with the way these posts are going...

I have a thing for dogs, labs in particular. My parents bought me gorgeous yellow female for my 8th birthday, Goldie. We had her for 12 years. Had to put her down when she lost control of her hind legs and started seizuring. [:/]:(:(:(:(

I love my kitties, spoil them rotten, but I really miss my dog.

Jeez do I have room to post them all?:S

As far as pets go, I love our 5 cats and our ADHD/manic Boston Terrier. But I'd love to have another Boxer and German Shepard if/when we get a house with a big back yard. For now I'll have to settle with playing with my parents' Boxer when we go up on visits.I also love horses and happen to be lucky enough to be able to be around them any time I want.My parents own a ranch with 27 horses,so I can go there and mess with them any time.

Just for silliness, I love frogs and monkeys. My favorite toy growing up was a plush Curious George. So the monkey thing kinda followed. When I was young I was a tomboy and used to love to catch frogs and chase my sister with them b/c she was a real 'girlie girl'.Now my bathroom is decorated in frogs.

And for exotic/wild animals, I love tigers (my HS mascot) and most big cats.My husband and I sponsor a tiger at the Tiger Creek WildLife Refuge here in TX.

If you want to way out and include fantasy, then I love dragons.

"...just an earthbound misfit, I."
