freeflyfrog 0 #1 March 21, 2007 I'm looking for advice from a rigger who has packed (or attempted to pack) a 143 Optimum reserve into a Javelin RSK. I have seen speculation on this forum, but I'd like to hear from anyone with ACTUAL experience. Can it be done and, if so, how does it feel? i.e. is it possible to wedge it in there, but you end up with a brick of a container and an unhappy rigger? Thanks for your input! BTW, I have a 126 Optimum that will shortly be put into the RSK (Sunpath's recommendation), BUT I am just curious to know if I can go one size higher after reading some of the posts here. RIGGER 0 #2 March 21, 2007 The best answer you is from Sun Path. If they said Optimum 126 into RSK which is PR 113 container, the 143 should go into a larger one, check with Sun Path about DNKY & TJNK both for PR126. Safe Jumps !!!
Emu 0 #3 May 4, 2008 Anyone? I saw someone saying an Optimum 143 packed smaller than a Tempo 120? Any truth in this?
RIGGER 0 #4 May 4, 2008 I would not vote for that. The RSK reserve container will be packed nice with an OP126 or PR113. Be Safe !!!
billvon 3,070 #5 May 5, 2008 In my experience, the OP143 packs up the same size, or slightly larger, than the PD126. (I think the fabric's volume is about the same in both cases, but the lines are longer and thus more bulky on the OP143.)
