Steak & Shake

I'd read here that Steak & Shake was pretty tasty (from Icon, I think). I noticed one on my way home from the DZ so I stopped to eat.

I had their bacon-cheddar burger with chili & fries, and a double chocolate fudge shake. Very tasty food, but I'd advise going elsewhere if you're in a hurry.

Steak & Shake is good... but I usually go through the drive through... I almost never go inside...

unless its 0300 after on my way home from a club... of course I don't do that so much anymore...

I've never had their food, but that double chocoloate shake is delicious!!

During the summer when i was in Ohio, we used to go there a lot to get shakes- especially on the way home from the dz. Unfortunateley (or maybe fortunately) I'm back in New York and I don't believe we have any here.

After over-imbibing last night I could not stay away from steak and shake today. Double with cheese, pickles only, fries. The perfect hang over food.

Good thread, but i had to read it and come back- i went to steak and shake. i had their breakfast bagel one time. loved it. also, their cookie dough shake is sensational. loved it.

Good god! Their chicken strips rock. HOWEVER, I would just about kill for a strawberry shake! Those things are to die for! The nearest one to me is a 10 hour drive away!

Every time we drive to Illinois to visit family, we hit the first one in Missouri and then hit that one again on the way back!

Waaaa.... now I really want a shake!
