Andy_Copland 0 #1 October 22, 2006 So a little way into the hike we get picture one, Shropshire and his boots that have probably done no less than a BILLION miles. Picture two you can see Woodpeckers cord going to good use Picture 3 we are nearly at the summit when his other shoe gives way. The moral of the story? Shrop was very lucky that he could manage a field repair on his boots (a few times.) If he couldnt he could of died!1338 People aint made of nothin' but water and shit. shropshire 0 #2 October 22, 2006 What a cracking day out..... 500mile round trip to Snowdon from Cambridge... We left at 04:30, arrived at Pen-y-Pass at 09:30. Walked up Snowdon (Got wet, made running repaires to footware and back at the car at 16:30) Then we drove home and arrived back at mine at 22:00. The first of many trips.
