Today I'm in a poppy mood, and I found Under the Covers, Volume 1 by Matthew Sweet and Susanna Hoffs (I'm sure you guys remember her as the hottie lead singer of the Bangles and the object of much pubescent or pre-pubescent lust ). Covers of some obscure and no-so-obscure songs, most if not all of which are from the '60s. Good stuff. Just caught this thread and noticed your first post about a year ago. LOVE Blue Rodeo! Jim Cuddy is amazing!!! Hmmm ... LP ... wine and Blue Rodeo. Cool. 'Shell'Shell

Oh you HAVE to get some more of his early stuff Done. I just ordered "Low" and "Heros"...

daremrc 0 #58 October 21, 2006 "Rock Swings" by.... Paul Anka (?!) All covers of the most unlikely tunes, ala Frank Sinatra. He does a jazz-standards cover of Van Halen's 'Jump' that, if it has not yet been edited into a skydiving video, is a *prime* canidate.Good judgement comes from experience, and most of that comes from bad judgement.
