Twoply 0 #1 October 8, 2006 I really love a reisling or a good red wine, but I usually drink beer jus tout of convenience. I've had a bunch of glasses of red wine today and noticed a different kind of buzz that I usually dont get through beer. My question is do you noticew a difference in wine buzzes verses beer ones? Or is it just me being goofy?

tigra 0 #13 October 9, 2006 I hate to break it to you, but Killian's is anything BUT Irish. Its made by Coors, if I recall correctly.
FlyinDawg 0 #14 October 9, 2006 Long time ago, I drank a lot of wine in a night but couldn't get drunk from that. But beers, easily get drunk! Odd! skydiver51 0 #15 October 9, 2006 It is an Irish beer. Yes it is made by coors but it is made by the original recipe and the grandson, George Killian VII, is still active with coors.

vskydiver 0 #17 October 9, 2006 QuoteAlso if you get very drunk on wine it will dehydrate you more than anything else. Well that's my opinion any way. It's the preservatives they put in wine found in America. SULFITES. I can't drink wine because sulfites make me very sick. Take me to France and I'll suck down the whole entire bottle--- without sulfites--- and be just fine.
skydiver51 0 #18 October 9, 2006 So just because it's made in america by THE ORIGINAL RECIPE it's not considered an Irish beer?? My chevy truck was manufactured in Canada, is it a canadian truck?? It's advertised as one. (american)
bob.dino 1 #19 October 9, 2006 Is it made in Ireland? No? It's not an Irish beer. Heineken made in the Australia is not a Dutch beer. Budweiser made in the UK is not an American beer. Guinness made in Nigeria isn't Irish.

AggieDave 6 #21 October 9, 2006 QuoteMy chevy truck was manufactured in Canada, is it a canadian truck?? It's advertised as one. That's my point. It's made in Canadia thus its Canadian. The beer is made in the US, hence its not Irish. Shiner Bock is made on a German reciepe. Its brewed in TX. Its TX beer. Its not German. Its not that hard of a concept to understand. Where the product is made at is what the product is, regardless of the origin of the original product. That's why stuff sold in Wal-Mart has "made in China" stamped on it, etc.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." American wines list sulfites on the label, but they are found in French wines as well.
