cameramonkey 0 #12 July 21, 2006 on a related note... me and one of my users (I am in IT) had to call the tech support dept for a software product we were having trouble with. Needless to say the guy we got in touch with was indian... us: yeah, we try to run your software, and a DOS box comes up and gives us the error of "stack fault" hadji: : I am seeing.... so you get the error stack......(pause) fart?????" the guy was on speakerphone. everyone in the room couldnt help but burst out laughing. Two wrongs don't make a right, however three lefts DO! Frenchy68 0 #13 July 21, 2006 People who "resemble" a remark annoy the shit out of me. One "resents" a remark, but does not "resembles" it (unless there is such a thing as "looking like" a remark...). jtval 0 #16 July 21, 2006 ok well there are BIGGER words that annoy me but You get my point. In such threads as this I guess it helps to be literal in the meaning of the words you choose. another thing that drives my stupid(er) is when people use the phrse "all, But" I.E. someone sees a car wreck and they say "Damn. That car is all, but wrecked." when they mean to say is: that thing is all "kindsa" fucked up.My photos My Videos
sartre 0 #17 July 21, 2006 What about "I could care less?" It should be "I couldn't care less!" The stupid one that gets to me the most: your vs you're. GET IT RIGHT, PEOPLE!!
soulshine 0 #18 July 21, 2006 It really annoys me when people use large or obscure words to make themselves sound intelligent, when really they are displaying their ignorance by using the words out of context or spelling them incorrectly.
