Ariel Atom

I thought the Atom used a supercharged Ecotec from GM.

I know Car and Driver did a test on a Honda powered "Mini" (not the "new" one owned by BMW), the damn thing was pretty zippy.
So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh
Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright
'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life
Make light!

The USA web site is here.

Super cool cars. If I had an extra 40 grand, I'd buy one.

The company that made the Mini that was tested in Car and Driver is apparently no longer fulfilling orders (lots of people bitching about not being able to get any response from them over on the Mini discussion boards).

I was poking around there and they don't mention the Honda engine at all, they blather on and on about the quality of the Ecotec though -- six paragraphs worth.

Either way, sweet wheels.

It's in their configurator. You have to create an account to login and pick the options for a car, and then it shows you all the available things.

I think they are pushing the GM engine because of their marketing agreement with GM.
