Don't know but the guy's face tells the story of the road he's been down. He's been through some sh*t. Too bad his comeback is likely over. I hope he makes a few bucks and this helps him get back on track.

I would but spike hasn't had Volume on my tv for about a month now. I guess I should call up and have them look into it.
I figured I was only missing(not really) ster trek reruns.

although I did miss CSI.

The Gracie fight wasn't much of a fight in terms of damage to Hughes. So he was probably ready to go again.

I'm disappointed that St. Pierre was unable to fight Hughes due to injury but the Penn/Hughes fight should be a good one. I want Hughes to win so that St. Pierre gets his shot at him. I'm expecting GSP to do much better in the rematch.

yea, but i still wouldnt bet money on GSP.

he's good but he's still got a lot of work to do. Hughes surprises me in almost every fight I see.

and yes, the gracie fight was a sham.
so was the ortiz v SHAMrock fight.
what a cry baby loser shamrock is

Agreed with everything you just said. ESPECIALLY the part about Ken Shamrock being a cry baby. Ortiz is bad assed and knows just how to get inside someones head, which is part of what makes him so good. He had a bug so far up shamrocks ass before their last fight that shamrock didn't know whether to shit or wind his wrist watch. He is aweseome at the mind games to keep people from staying focused.

and what is up with Jeremy, I couldn't believe that he couldn't go without some muff for 4-weeks and a chance at 100 gr. I like it too, but NONE is worth losing a chance that kind of cash.

Does Shonie have an empty water bottle fetish or something? He sure pissed Rich & Jorge off last night by throwing them back into the pool.

I hope Shonie is working hard because he looked pretty gassed in his first fight which I think he just barely won on the decision. I think it would be cool to have him and Serra meet again.

Yeah! But he's doing a good job with the mental aspect of it. Get someone in there who really wants to kick your ass and they forget all about technique. Just ask Ken Shamrock about that! ;)

anyone hear about Stephen Bonner from UF1?

My understanding is he has be banned from the UFC after testing positive for steroids after his last fight with Griffin.

too funny, but also too true!

Does anyone have a GF who is interested in the series? I tried to tell my GF that it is kinda like survivor only with ass-kicking in it. She only watched for 15 minutes then had enough of it. [:/]

I absolutely love that show!!!! To see a guy go from blonde to a redhead due to blood....how f***ing cool is that? If I wasn't a wuss and didn't hate pain, I think I'd really like fighting.
There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Yep, he tested positive for some steroid. Suspension hasn't been announced yet, but it is practically a guarantee. He has a short period of time to make an official response to the positive test, which I'm sure will be ignored and then they will decide how long his suspension will be. My guess is that it will not be light, because they are grasping for credibility (and getting it).

My GF is onto UFC. I had to ease her into it but she understands it now. its not all violence. its actually technical and MOST fo the time the fighters shake hands at the end. very respectable

I haven't been able to follow the show but I've met Shonie Carter. He stepped into the club at 3 a.m. at Trump's on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City after he was KO'd by Nathan Quarry. I bought him a drink, got photo ops and chatted. He was all dressed up in his ghetto pimp street duds. A nice guy in person, but a real knucklehead on the show. Earlier that night I comp'd Randy Couture's meal at the Hard Rock Cafe and he joined my group and chatted.
I think BJ will handle Hughes in the upcoming UFC 63 but it will be much harder then last time. I think the real fighting event is Pride coming to the Thomas & Mack Convention Center in Vegas. A S.O.B. friend of mine flashed his hotel & casino comp'd room & tix to me the other day and said he couldn't go.. and I can't either, unless I get'em off Ebay. Little did he know that would immediately change after a brief introduction to my two friends, Smith & Wesson.

You're always the starter in your own life!
