skyfreek 1 #1 April 16, 2007 i`m looking for a place to send my vx 88 to get relined. i`m also considering a jvx lineset, is there a big difference?
JohnnyZ 0 #2 April 16, 2007 I know that Para Concepts (The gear store/rigging loft at Skydive Chicago) is the Icarus service center. They did the reline on my JVX (with comp HMA) and it was perfect. They know their stuff. They're also making a very nice RDS that a lot of swoopers are buying.
Spizzzarko 0 #3 April 16, 2007 He can also get with Mel at Skyworks rigging. You can't go wrong with those dudes. PM masterriggerone here on dz.com. Their customer service is excellent.
speedy 0 #4 April 16, 2007 Don't send it to Icarus in spain. That cost me 440 Euros for the re-line. Dave Fallschirmsport Marl
jgarango 0 #5 April 16, 2007 I agree with Spizzzarko. Mel at Skyworks rigging did a great job on my FX. He is very fast and I think that the price was very reasonable.
eUrNiCc 0 #6 April 17, 2007 I've flown a VX87 with a JVX lineset and there was a very noticable difference between it and the stock VX90 that I'd put some jumps on at about the same time. The openings were also noticably softer. I currently own a JVX80 and VX69 and I'm going to get a JVX lineset for the VX pretty soon.Egad, A BASE life defiles a bad age.
