SkydiveStMarys 0 #1 September 24, 2006 Is it your kids? Skydiving? Life? You SO? Is it football? Are you still trying to find it? BobbiA miracle is not defined by an event. A miracle is defined by gratitude.

PLFXpert 0 #3 September 24, 2006 I have lots. The main ones, obviously, being Billy and animals.I'm sad for the latter right now... Billy left this morning on his Harley to head out to the DZ and we have several Harley riders on our street. Everytime poor Cruz hears the rumble of pipes he starts whining at the window thinking Daddy's home. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back. irisheyes 0 #4 September 24, 2006 Think I'm still trying to find it, though if I had to chose now, I'd say some combination of travel and photography.
PLFXpert 0 #5 September 24, 2006 Sounds good to me. Billy loves video & photography and is always video'ing things. He's royally unorganized though () and so none of his hundreds of tape have labels or are in any particular order. So we were going through some the other day and HOLY COW!...we need to seriously erase a few things. None of which are of HIM of course.Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back. SkydiveStMarys 0 #6 September 24, 2006 AAaaaah isn't it uncanny how dogs can hear things like that and associate the sound with something familiar? My dogs do it with my SO's truck...he can be a mile away and they will hear it before it even turns into the sub division.... BobbiA miracle is not defined by an event. PLFXpert 0 #7 September 24, 2006 Oh, definitely. Cruzer knows Billy's truck as well b/c it has these custom exhaust pipes on it (though even w/out those I'm sure he could still distinguish the sounds). I feel bad. He'll be wagging his tail and whining and looking around frantically. He looks super-cute though w/ a closing ribbon tied around his neck. (Billy tied it there when he packed before he left).Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
matt1215 0 #8 September 24, 2006 Honestly, I'm still trying to figure that out. Almost 30 and still figuring out "what I want to be when I grow up". A couple years ago, I was all about marrying my SO and starting a family with her . That didn't pan out and my life focus has shifted to being single and selfish. Persuing new experiences and living life in general. That's a large part of why I started skydiving. It's helped me think about airtime rather than her. She lets out a very particular squawk and the dogs go nuts. She loves it and occasionally, when she is feeling evil I think, she will do it even if there is no one coming in. She'll then just sit there watching the dogs run around looking every where for their visitor, only to be disappointed when no one shows up. You can almost see the satisfied look on her face.
