Ummm....good kitty, but I think I'm going to yack! B|

My pets know, if you are going to kill it, kill it quick, and under no circumstances are you to bring your kill to mom. (Sherpa is still working on this one, and the sound of small animals screaming as he toys with them is not cool)

This is my cat, Oakley, the killer, with one of his earlier kills, a poor little tufted titmouse bird. Whatever he kills, he leaves at the nearest door as an offering to his master.... me. :S

I love the sumbitch, but wish he'd stick to killing mice... :P

Yeah once while I was sick my old cat went out and caught a black bird as a get well gift and layed it at my bedroom door.Unfortunately it wasnt dead, just stunned. So I was woken up to the sound of a bird flying and thrashing around the house with feathers flying EVERYWHERE!It took several hours to get all the feathers (and some blood) cleaned up once we got the damned bird out.:S

My grey tabby doesn't kill anything ... you might be onto something there.

Don't own a black and white cat!

cool, wasn't it?? that's the worst I've seen him do them.

I did get mad at him last year because he left one barely alive outside. Had to go get my axe and chop its tiny head off, and all of a sudden its body sans head, starts going apeshit for 15 seconds or so... it was surreal to watch. :S

I experienced the exact same delivery with a blackbird a few years ago. The cat drug the poor thing through the pet door and black feathers were scattered throughout the house. Had to take it outside and put a pellet in its head. G-ross!! RIP poor bird. [:/]

Awhile later, at a different house, it was a baby owl. Dammit! Why does he have to kill birds!?! Rodents, bugs, even lizards I'm ok with, but birds!?!

Good kitty. Please don't kill me in my sleep...

Hmmm...my Red Persian doesn't kill anything but he is usually the one to ferret out and stun the prey, then my dog steals the prey and kills it. So I'm not sure if he doesn't want to dirty his little paws with killing and lets the crazy pup do the killing or if he really doesn't know what to do once it's stunned.

My money is actually on prefers to let the dog do the dirty work. :D:D:P

My cat is all black, she's 17yrs. old and the only thing she pounces on is her Fancy Feast in the morning - thank God!

I'd hurl if she brought me a "present" :|

It's very cute - as I type this she's standing over the keyboard and staring at the screen as the letters appear and move:)

I've got a little Chihuahua mix that started off stalking ants, then beatles and lizards. A few months back we found a dead mice with a broken neck. The dog was pretending that she didn't know anything about it.

My apartment cats are lazy fuckers. They wouldn't know HOW to kill anything.

I got my cat from the local animal shelter. Word was somebody picked him up out there when he was young. Apparently already had the survival and hunting instinct, plus here at home, he has 3 acres to roam on.

However, he's not the most prolific killer I've ever had. The worst one was an all-black cat, appropriately named "Blacky" that I had from 1976 to 1988. You name it, he killed it - birds (mostly mockingbirds and doves), squirrels, rabbits, mice, shrews, snakes (up to 2 feet long), etc... There were skunks around too but thank god he was smart enough to leave those alone, they were big enough anyway... :D

whould this be a Hat trick?:)

Not the first time he's done it! B| But this time they were all within a foot of each other. Of course, he caught them wherever in the garage and deposited them near each other at the kitchen door.

The first time he did it, they were all outside. Soon as I got out of the car when I got home, he came right up to me, then led me to the first one by the front door, then sauntered over to near the garage door to the second one, then around the corner to the back wall of the garage to the 3rd one.

It was unbelievable then...
