I like to sleep colder with lots of covers. Not sure of the exact temp. White noise is good, I can handle reasonable amounts of ambient noise, too. To be honest, though, as much as I like sharing a bed with my SO, for quality sleep, I do better when I have the whole bed to myself."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. jumpinfarmer 0 #10 September 19, 2006 Cold dark and quiet. I'm with you there except when I'm drying corn, the dryer is just outside the bedroom window and sounds like an Otter at takeoff It will run almost continuously for over a month when corn harvest starts. It's funny how I can sleep right through that with no trouble but I could never sleep at anyones house in town where there was normal ambient noise. Programmer 0 #13 September 19, 2006 For some reason, I always sleep well in a sleeping bag in a tent on a cold night, especially if there's a stream running in the background.
eeneR 3 #14 September 19, 2006 What we had here last night! It was 48 when I walked the dogs this morning. Only thing that could have made it better is if I had a warm male body next to me. 2fat2fly 0 #15 September 19, 2006 Well, I have to read to relax at night and I'm fat so I need the room cold and quiet with a light on. I'll doze off and wake up later and flip off the lamp. My wife does better with the radio on sappy music in a dark room and since she's scrawny she likes it warm. We look funny with me reading with ear plugs in and her listening to the radio in a blindfold. The temperature thing we haven't worked out but I usually win.I am not the man. LyraM45 0 #17 September 19, 2006 Cool temperature in the room, maybe low 70's, and curled up with my handsome in our "pretzel" position. I never liked falling asleep with anybody before, but I LOVE being curled up with him! The TV in the background used to be a must, but now I can fall asleep either way. My boyfriend has got me hooked on postrock music-- that stuff is awesome to fall asleep to! As long as it's not hot as balls, I'll find a way to fall asleep. Apologies for the spelling (and grammar).... I got a B.S, not a B.A. :)

I love sleeping on my stomach and have had to adjust since having ACL surgery. The worst was when every movement would wake me up with the pain!!!! I love to sleep in the cold...it is going to be in the forties tonight and I am going to keep the window open...yay! I love to sleep next to Skymedic, but not relaly in contact. We often sleep holding hands or with one part of our bodies touching (get your minds out of the gutter). I cannot sleep in full contact with him...just too warm. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!
