lightningbugirl 0 #1 April 21, 2005 Ladyskydiver inspired this thread w/ her Starbucks post. I personally LOVE coffee. I live for it. I am not allowed to drink it now for awhile but remember it drowsily and fondly. Indulge me. What is the best coffee blend or brand or type you have ever tasted. Post links so when I am done in 6 months I can order some and drink up. (On a side note, I'm doing ok, I'm scheduled for an operation soon & treatment afterward. Thank you for the prayers, pm's, thoughts, & prayers. Thank you everyone. I feel very loved & very positive.)
highfly 0 #2 April 21, 2005 Well when I used to make coffee in a restaurant I used to work in, I used to make "new and exciting" recipes. My favorite that I made was my Caia sunshine. It consisted of grated orange rind a small amount of caster sugar according to taste of course. Top it all off with a bit of whipped cream with orange rind in too. Mmmmmmmmmmmm lovely www.myspace.com/durtymac
lightningbugirl 0 #3 April 21, 2005 What kind of COFFEE was in it? I will try the orange though, thank you.

skybill 22 #5 April 21, 2005 Hi lightningbugril!!, You want good coffee?!! Just go to New Orleans!! It is all good. There are several local blends that you must try. There's the French Market Coffee and the cafe Du Monde (Coffee stand by Jackson Square)and last but not least "Community Coffee" {probably my favorite} to try. When you go to Cafe Du Monde, you also hav to get the little square French doughnuts called begnets (ben-yay's) !!! Enjoy!! New Orleans, called "The Big Easy," "The city that care forgot," and I've heard it said down there, "The coffee drinkinist' town in the USA!!" some other towns/city's mayclaim a higher per capita sale in coffee by the pound but that don't mean they drink it or like the stuff they drink. Get it?SCR-2034, SCS-680 III%, Deli-out

Stay away from the flavored coffees, the coffee makers use the lowest quality beans for flavored coffees. (yeah, I couldn't resist going to a coffee plantation while I was in Hawaii and they had loads of great info).
