freeflir29 0 #4 September 16, 2006 It'll probably be months before I can jump or even work properly again.
matt1215 0 #5 September 16, 2006 I took yesterday off for a packing lesson in Titusville, even jumped my first 2 pack jobs. The remainder of the weekend will be devoted to work, housekeeping, and getting ready for a trip to DC next week.
freeflir29 0 #6 September 16, 2006 QuoteThe first opened a little slow for my taste, the other opened with line-twists. On the bright side they DID open! The rest is just practice and technique
matt1215 0 #7 September 16, 2006 You're right about that, probably not the best jumps to pull low, but I did (sub 4k). I'm finding myself envious of guys with smaller canopies that look much easier to pack. My friend's 150 looks a lot easier to get into the bag than my 210. I'll be getting some practice in my living room where it's nice and cool.

Oh they are.........but if you downsize too fast you will find yourself NOT having to worry about packing. You'll be too busy doing physical therapy. matt1215 0 #9 September 16, 2006 10 jumps on my 210 and I've only stood it up once. I need to at least stick my landings before I downsize to a 150 190.

Angelic Take Scott Miller's Canopy course! I took it twice... I used to have horrible landings, but I am now standing up all my landings, thanks to his course! I took his class right after AFF, well worth the $$. I'll definitely be going back for more in the near future. I watched nervously from the ground, but all was well thank god! Imagine if the poor guy had a problem on his first jump and it was my fault... eek!
