cocheese 0 #26 September 17, 2006 When I let people know that they are wrong, they usually flip me off like they own the road. Only one out of 100 says sorry or does what i ask them to do like obey the law, be considerate of others. etc.

shropshire 0 #28 September 17, 2006 And they are probably the 1st to get pissed off if someone pulled the same stunt on them. The fabric of our universe is being ripped apart by rude, inconsiderate and pig headed people... sad aint it? . (.)Y(.) warpedskydiver 0 #31 September 17, 2006 QuoteI believe the Mythbusters 'busted' the cellphone danger. They've also conducted an experiment with a pantyhose which creates static electricity while repeatedly being rubbed against the upholstery when a woman (or a guy in polyester pants )gets in and out of the car while refueling. If I remember correctly there was an explosion. Wearing Polyester pants should be a death by burning offense!
murps2000 86 #32 September 17, 2006 I know I'm not supposed to talk on my cell phone while at the pump, but is it okay to watch funny movies on it if I'm bored? Also if I take some alligator clips and ground my nipples to both the car and the pump, can I make a call then?

Muenkel 0 #34 September 17, 2006 I can honestly say that I do not recall ever seeing a 'No Cell Phone Allowed' sign at a gas pump. I also believe a lot of people use their cell phones while at the gas station because it seems safer than using them while driving (should you not have the hands free feature). jraf 0 #36 September 17, 2006 "1) I am constantly amazed at the number of people who will talk on their cell phone while pumping gas even when the sign right on the pump says NO CELL PHONE USE. I guess most people are ignorant of the fact that it is dangerous but having personally witnessed a cell phone call set off an explosive charge that was a few feet away accidentaly,I have no problem seeing how it could be an issue at a gas pump." Whoooooow...either you were in Faluja (cell phones double as exquisite remote control power sources for detonators), or you were watching "Die Hard VII - the cell phone massacre". It is quite impossible to cause a detonation otherwise...and before you say anything about it...I kinda know what I am talking aboutjraf Me Jungleman! Me have large Babalui. LouDiamond 1 #38 September 17, 2006 Quote It is quite impossible to cause a detonation otherwise. Are you refering to an explosive charge or the gas pump? The incident I am refering to was an electrically primed breeching charge that we had placed on a door. A cell phone call intitated by a person in the assault team caused the charge to accidentaly detonate. This has also happened to a Group of Seals, lucky for them the blasting caps only destroyed the ruck they were in and not the whole boat. I am not talking about the cell phone being used as a remote detonating device in either instance, the phone was being used to make a call.Likewise, I don't "kinda" know about this stuff, its what I am paid to do."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
