It is pink eye. It doesn't look like this anymore, this was I believe day 4 of the infection. We are 2 weeks in I've been on now 4 meds and finally the white of my eye is coming back. Eyelid is swollen though so it looks like my eye is half open.

Doc today said it's severe viral conjunctivitus, which is pink eye. Except I happened to have it on my cornea instead of the white part. If you could stick needles in my eye it would feel just like that. It's been awesome!!!!

I've thought about the spoon idea.
I am not that far into my training to make brains.

And what the heck, there is nothing on tv these days.

At least it's getting better, not worse. Your eyeball being all itchy and on fire is not a pleasant experience. Been there, done that.

That sucks. It's not just regular old pink eye though.
Maybe at one point it was. I hope to be better very soon. I've been one eyeing it now for 2 weeks and I'm beginning to forget what it is like to be able to have peripheal vision.


Eye burning has subsided some. I keep saying to people you never know uncomfortable until you can FEEL your eyball is warm. It's the damn needles every once in awhile that gets me.

Man, that's one nasty case of pink eye. You know pink eye is highly contagious, so be careful. I've only had it once, but nothing like yours. A couple days of eye drops and it was gone.

I get that stuff three or more times a year. It's just from correcting papers I think, I probably rub my eyes while correcting.

Fuck that's nothing. I never had pink eye as a kid, but get in at least once a year as an adult. I've had it three times in the last 12 months. The 2nd time this year was pretty intense. I ended up in the ER at about 2 am. That numbing solution they use is awsome, but it doesn't last long. It took about a week of antibiotics and 4 trips to they eye doc to get it cleared up, but it finally went away. Mine too was on the cornea, not just the white of the eye. On a good note, the doctor at the ER gace me some pretty harcore pain meds for it. Overkill in my book, but wasn't going to refuse good drugs....
