I hollered to the back of my very small house, where Jay's watching cartoons, "Jay, Crocodile hunter was killed by a stingray."

"I didn't like him anyway..."

Oh my!

Crikey! LOL!!! That made me laugh!!:D:D How old is Jay?

Made me laugh too...lol. Jay's 9.

bravo!

teach children about the realities of death early on..then they wont act like blubbering twits when "she flies nearer" to their own lives

every living thing dies.. sad to say it but not ever living human really experiences their life while they have it.... gettting all broken up because some died while following their True Path (and Steve Irwin certainly was IMO) isnt just sentimental.. its bloody stupid and shortsighted. Those sitting around in various forms/stages of depression arent helping the dead.. and they ARE harming themselves.. (and the children they raise with such an ignorant attitude towards everything's eventual end.)

Very well said! While it's important to mourn someone's passing, it's much more important to celebrate their life and their legacy. Irwin touched and inspired a lot of people by living the life he did, as annoying as some people found him. He genuinely seemed like a very happy and fulfilled person. I don't think there are many people that can say that.

I miss Lee.
And JP.
And Chris. And...

Germaine Greer that bitter old talantless has been has attacked Steve Irwin after his death. Showing her true colours. Nasty old bitch.

I haven't heard anyone except HER caling Steve Irwins death 'Australia's Princess Diana moment'.
Stupid bitch.
When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy.

When I worked on Grand Cayman I spent a lot of time in the water with stingrays and would happily jump in with them today if I was on the Island.

Steve was unlucky and his is a profound loss to those who care for the welfare of animals everywhere.

RIP steve:(
