Icon134 0 #1 September 4, 2006 0:9:0 So... I know this weekend isn't quite over for some... but I've been home studying since this afternoon... even though today is a beautiful day. yesterday and today were awesome days jumpwise. I did several fun RW jumps... and a number of RW video jumps... I also lurked my third tandem. highlights are a 7 or something point 4 way, videoing for a Screaming Eagles jump. (which is something the the 101st Airborne is starting where a 4-way can either build a 1, 0, 1 in sequence or a larger formation can build a 101 as pieces. Either freeflying or FS...) it was a fun jump and on that jump I finally found the burble.. and slammed into the 4-way pretty good... I'll be sure to post the video later... I another highlight was the chance to shoot my RW videographer mentor's 5000th skydive and the dive video turned out awesome... oh and I ended up getting this shot out of the CASA during climb when I plugged in my camera remote... I thought it was pretty cool...Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife...
NWFlyer 2 #2 September 4, 2006 :2:0 Nice little two-way RW and two-way freefly on Saturday. The rest of the weekend has been a lazy weekend reconnecting with my neighborhood and whuffo friends. jceman 1 #12 September 4, 2006 Quote0-8-5 So what do you owe five cases of beer for? Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money. Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them?
matt1215 0 #13 September 4, 2006 :4:0 I made 2 Friday morning and 2 more this afternoon. 3 solos, 1 where got into a sit for about 5 seconds (after going to my back to watch the tandems jump). 2 more solos trying to figure out the transition to a sit, and a 2 way tracking dive. Had my pre-second stand-up landing on my Spectre.

Vallerina 2 #17 September 5, 2006 Stopped at a whammy:8: I owe so much frickin' beer Saturday: I did two AFF jumps which were really really fun! My month of non-drinking ended, so I started this month out right by drinking TONS and doing some karaoke to My Humps and Humpty Dance (see a trend with the music I like?) Sunday: made a jump with Andy (not Andyman) then heard that the Otter was flying from Chicagoland Skydiving down to Richmond, so Doug let me hop on! Today: made two more really fun jumps (I even flew on my head a bit!) I'm really really exhausted, but I had a GREAT time at Chicagoland Skydiving and Richmond! Going to Richmond was definitely an unexpected (and very pleasant) surprise! Now, it's time to watch Flavor of Love and prepare for a very busy week of work and studying. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
