Get them to fit you for a pair. A good store should examine your feet, your build, your gait, and find you something that works. skymama 37 #4 August 31, 2006 I'd recommend going to a real store for runners. I took my son there when he was having problems with shin splints. They take a look at how your shoes are wearing, the shape of your foot and what your needs are. You might pay a little more for this service, but running shoes are made to be light and comfortable so you'll probably be better off in the long run.
