Six jumps, including my special re-assembly without actually packing it after a reserve repack... All went well as opposed to last time where I had a 360 on one riser.

INCREDIBLE weekend at Skydive Oregon's All of the Above Boogie ... great folks, great DZ, great jumps. I did a 5-way () freefly, a three-way hybrid where I was in the base, a three-way RW, a four-way RW, and an eight-way hybrid / freefly jump where I was actually the hanger (and I pulled it off). Thanks to a badass group of freefliers for taking my freefly noob ass out on that jump ... I'm still grinning it was so much fun.

Best part of the weekend? I found my skydive mojo again. It's been MIA for several months now.

Went to the Orange Boogie to hang out with JENNR8R and jumpjunkie2004 and meet some dz.commers. Had some nice jumps with wonderful people.
I'm sure I met some dz.commers but didn't know their login names but for sure I met:

I also ran into Kevin Gibson, who taught me to skydive many years ago!

The All of The Above Boogie at SDO was pretty sweet! Good Times. Hybrids, Tracking, Freeflying, Tube Jumps, Birdman and of course Tandems and Video.

One 3 way RW and a 2 way. The last jump didn't go so well, and it was the easier of the two. Go figure, good times though.

edit to add: Also took the C license exam...passed. Now just waiting to finish up the jumps.

Parents in town for the weekend. No jumps, but a lot of shopping and "beach time." Also the S.O. got to "meet the parents (and sister)." Things went well!

Yay boobiefest! 9 jumps is a lot for me in one weekend...2 tubes, a 6-way hybrid for a friends 100th, an all-girl load (12-way BFR), 2 4-ways (one all-girl one), a 6-way, and 2 hog flops! We even got Brie to fly on her belly and turn some points!

Very very fun weekend.

Did five tandems on my 11th Skybirthday on Saturday, which totaled: 911 tandems, and 2200 jumps.

I promptly bought a Lotto ticket using 11 and 22, but I didn't win anything, dammit!

I just found out that Skydave's bite switch was broken on that jump, so there are no stills. He may try to grab stills from the video, but not sure when. The video rocks though!
