You can fit better in planes, you don't hit your head on stuff, you can fit in every car, etc. I'm in a pissy mood because someone left an overhead cabinet door open at such an angle that when I walked around the corner, it cut my scalp. I've yet to own a vehicle where the left rear seat was useful, other than for a small child. I wouldn't give up any of my height, nor would I want to be taller. Not just being 6'4", but having a 37.5" inseam makes it such a pain in the ass for so many things!
