matt1215 0 #3 August 28, 2006 Shadow's already in the room, shoulder-surfing on the bed. She perked up really fast and looked really concerned tho.
Shell666 0 #4 August 28, 2006 Quotehttp://www.kessels.com/CatSounds/DistressedKitten.wav Neither of my cats even bothered to get up from the other room. My DOG, on the other hand, came racing in with a seriously concerned look on his face (the same one he gets when I put my cat Teko in the sink to give him a bath and he howls like a madman!). Randy_H 0 #5 August 28, 2006 This is great, BUT, they only went for it twice! I guess they are smarter then I thought! I'll try again tomorrow and see what happens! 010010010110010101100001011101000111000001110101011100110111001101111001
matt1215 0 #6 August 28, 2006 I played the rest of the cat sounds from that site, kitty was up on the desk checking out the speakers.

Jewels 0 #8 August 28, 2006 My cats must be seriously desensitized. One of them was sitting here ON THE BED NEXT TO ME, cleaning his paws. He didn't even stop. No compassion whatsoever. No more violent television for them!!!TPM Sister #

AggieDave 6 #11 August 28, 2006 I heard my cats start coming towards my room then they realized that we dont' have a kitten and they wondered off. They're smarter then they look. EDIT: Ok, played with the Kitten sound as well as the rest of the sounds on the site and turned the speakers up some more. It brought the cats into the room and had them looking around looking very worried. How cool is it that the instinct to protect the young is basically genetically programmed in many of the creatures under the sun.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Michele 1 #16 August 28, 2006 My herd couldnt've cared less. As I'm regularly bringing in kittens to place for adoption, they often hear that call...and know I'm on my way. So they don't even pay attention. ROFL. Lazy buncha cats I got here. At least I don't have a mouse issue...but it's not because of them! Michele 1 #19 August 28, 2006 Quote"uh, Mom... you gonna take care of that, or what?" LOL, if I had mice, that's just about how it would go, I think. LOL. Either that, or Esse would lose her mind; she's scared of small things. She's a wimp, but an adorable wimp. Abby is the only one I think might actually track it...wouldn't kill it, but would track it, and then let me know when she'd cornered it so I could "handle" it for her. simplyputsi 0 #21 August 29, 2006 I played this for my roommates dog yesterday. She perked up her ears and came over to me looking all around for something. I played it a few times but she looked like she was getting upset that she couldn't find the poor kitty. I can't wait to play it for my cat.Skymama's #2 stalker -
