stuartledden 0 #1 August 28, 2006 This is a picture of some dude who showed up on a DZ in Spain blind fold and wired for sound so he didn't know what was goin' down. It was his birthday and it was a surprise tandem jump. I wasn't on the lift so I don't know when the blindfold came off, but guess it must have been just before exit!!! Don't forget to pull your stopping ropes!
SkydiveStMarys 0 #2 August 28, 2006 Interesting that they would allow him to "ok" this. I mean didn't he have to sign a waiver?? BobbiA miracle is not defined by an event. A miracle is defined by gratitude.
skydiverbrian 0 #3 August 28, 2006 Quotedidn't he have to sign a waiver I'm sure he would have. And the guy would have to be a complete moron not to have figured it out. Airplane noises, harnesses, etc. In a world full of people, only some want to fly... isn't that crazy! --Seal
stuartledden 0 #4 August 28, 2006 Yeah I agree with you! All I know is this guy turned up like this. I didn't actually see him board the airplane so they could have unhooked him before he got on board, but still i think it was a pretty neat birthday present! Don't forget to pull your stopping ropes! Sockpuppet 0 #5 August 28, 2006 How did they do the ground training. Maybe he signed the waiver in the air...or during freefall. ------ Two of the three voices in my head agree with you. It might actually be unanimous but voice three only speaks Welsh.
P.F. 0 #6 August 28, 2006 I guess they only make you sign a waiver if the tandem master has to chop.http://home.comcast.net/~thefishwrapper
