It was his birthday and it was a surprise tandem jump. I wasn't on the lift so I don't know when the blindfold came off, but guess it must have been just before exit!!! I didn't actually see him board the airplane so they could have unhooked him before he got on board, but still i think it was a pretty neat birthday present! Don't forget to pull your stopping ropes!
