gemini 0 #1 August 24, 2006 We are getting close to getting them all painted, so looking for great ideas. Will consider stripes, slashes, zig zags, etc., but no fish, animals, nudes or landscapes. If we select your design, I may be able to get you a few jumps or some $$. Thanks. Blue skies, Jim

bob.dino 1 #15 August 24, 2006 Sounds like you need some dazzle painting. Search for dazzle camouflage or razzle dazzle and you'll find some pretty cool ideas. Unfortunately, most of the photos are in B&W .

AggieDave 6 #17 August 24, 2006 How about a nice shade of maroon and white? Or green and black? Ok, seriously, you need to stencil some sort of "kills" graphics under the pilot's window. Something funny...too bad there's not a graphic for whuffo.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."

AggieDave 6 #25 August 24, 2006 As a side note, how cool would it be if a major manufacure bought something like a Grand Caravan, painted it with the company logo and colors then traveled the country with demo gear to smaller DZs for the season. Think about it, demos and reps show up with gear to demo and a turbine to your 182 DZ. People would be buying gear, having fun, etc. Too bad its so cost prohibative its beyond practical.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
