Icon134 0 #8 August 23, 2006 In the summer I generally wear shoes that can be slipped off easily enough (a pair of Vans actually) with a pair of low cut socks... once I get on the ground part of my disrobing entails removing my shoes/socks and I'll either walk around bare foot or with an easily slipped on/off pair of Birkenstocks. I don't generally like jumping in sandals on the off chance that I might get a bad spot and need to land in a corn field, Soybean field, or some unknown/unkempt field...Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife... However no way can I run barefoot.
