ahegeman 0 #53 August 17, 2006 Twenty-five is the last cool birthday. After that they all suck. At my 25th birthday party a good buddy of mine put his arm around me and said "Remember 20?" I nodded, and he replied, "seems like yesterday, doesn't it?" I nodded again, and he said, "that's how far away thirty is." Yuck. I just turned 29 a couple of weeks ago. Thirty's loomin' large, and 20 still seems like yesterday.--------------------------------------------------------------- There is a fine line between 'hobby' and 'mental illness'. --Dave Barry

BlindBrick 0 #57 August 17, 2006 26 was way worse than 25 for me. At 25 you realize you are a quarter of a century old. At 26 your realize you're OVER a quarter of a century old. -Blind"If you end up in an alligator's jaws, naked, you probably did something to deserve it." Butters 0 #58 August 17, 2006 I will be turning 25 at the end of this month. I find that it is best not to view what I wish I would have but what I have. Then think of what I want and what I need to do to get it. Here is the actions of most people. Think about what they want to have, do nothing, grow old, wish they had the things they wanted, think of new things they want, do nothing, grow older, wish they had the things they wanted, ... You have to break the cycle and start working now for the things you want later so later you won't be wishing you had them but actually have them."That looks dangerous."
